Alison Thornton has more than 17 years of experience in for-profit and non-profit agencies, which includes an owner of a home child business. Some of her experience includes training, leadership, fiscal management, customer service, mentor-coaching, strategic planning, ongoing monitoring, community and self-assessment, and data analysis. She has worked effectively with diverse populations and various community agencies. Alison has a Bachelor’s in Finance and Masters in Education, with an emphasis in pre-kindergarten through 6th grade.
Over the years, she has provided oversight and guidance for children birth to 5 years old, mental health, disabilities, home-based EHS/HS services, opening new classrooms/centers, various regulations, state and federal monitoring, and outcomes. She also has extensive experience in writing job descriptions, interviewing, creating policies and procedures, and classroom observations. Alison is currently an Ohio approved trainer and a Federal CLASS Reviewer.
