Helen Murphrey is an experienced fiscal consultant and training and technical assistance provider. She specializes in Head Start grants and working with non-profit agencies, school districts, educational institutions, governmental entities, and American Indian tribes. With a background of over 20 years in fiscal management, Helen served as Finance Director of a large non-profit organization and Head Start grantee.
Her experience also includes positions such as Fiscal Specialist for the National Center on Program Management and Fiscal Operations and as a Head Start Fiscal monitoring reviewer. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Texas State University and attended law school at South Texas College of Law.
